Oh good grief it's HOT!!! Hot outside...hot everywhere you go..and HOT in politics. I've been having some fun looking up some new news stories. I will post later on this afternoon....taking a small break from coming in from town. IT WAS OUTRAGEOUSLY HOT...I think I'm going to track down Ashley McDonald and have her bring in some cooler weather. Ever since the new girl took over for Ashley, it's been too hot for words. (Not her fault...though). I'm thinking of moving to the NORTH POLE...The older I get...the hotter it gets, and I'm getting TOO OLD for this s***. I'm ready for the 40s at night, and 70 in the daytime. Is that too much to ask??? I think NOT. Here are some pictures for your enjoyment...

Our older daughter works for the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration, in Silver Spring MD. She began this position about a month ago.
On her first day on the job, I paged her to file a complaint about the rainy weather here in Alabama.
Twenty minutes later, the sun came out and the weather became very pleasant!
omg..that's GREAT!! So..now I know someone with connections. Ha ha!! (Order me some snow for now...later on, I'm sure I'll have more requests LOL).
So, I disprove Mark Twain's observation: "Everybody complains about the weather but no one does anything about it."
