SWINE FLU NEWS...Egypt slaughters 300,000 pigs!

Egypt has taken the drastic measure of slaughtering 300,000 pigs even though there are no cases of Swine Flu there.

The world is addressing the SWINE FLU in many different ways.

In airports of Japan, South Korea, Greece, and Turkey "thermal cameras" are trying to capture if any people are showing signs of fever.

"On Wednesday, the World Health Organization raised its pandemic alert to the second-highest level, meaning it believes a global outbreak of the disease is imminent." See the rest in the yahoo link below.

Puppy Blown Away ....SURVIVES!

"Good Grief, Charlie Brown"...I haven't made a post in a week??

wow!! I knew I had been terribly busy this past week, but I didn't realize that I was slacking up on my blogging. Sorry, readers. Trying to catch up today, and babysat grandkiddies last night. ALL FOUR OF THEM. (yeah, I'm ok today LMAO.....) All of them got along pretty well, considering their ages are from 3, on up to 11. Seems it was my son-in-law's birthday, so I am the elected babysitter lol. (Only thing I've ever been elected too!! lol @ myself.)(now I know I have opened myself up to ridicule, criticism, etc on al.com with that joke)...What's that saying? "You have to be able to laugh at yourself," and I can do that quite well!!

Busy, busy week. Time flies too quickly for me, it seems, since I turned 50. I would prefer to turn time back and start my 30s all over again!! Ha! Naw, 30s were ok. 40s better, and I think that 50s might be the best yet. Don't count me out, yet, Twitter readers, Facebook buddies, Myspace friends, and bloggers alike. I may have busy weeks, but I always come back to other things that are near and dear to my heart...Judicial reform, Humanitarian efforts (Please help the Zimbabwe people!), and blogging. HAVE A GREAT WEEK ALL!!
