CHRISTMAS LIGHTS...OH YEAH!
Merry Christmas to my readers! I have been very busy lately, and haven't had the time to post, but I wanted to let you know I am NOT down and out! Ha Ha. One of my favorite things to do at this time of year, is drive around and view Christmas lights. Do you have any Christmas lights pics you would like to share with me? I'd be glad to post them on here in a slideshow. Just send to Murphree4psc@yahoo.com. (Be sure to state what city). This time of year can be very depressing to some, and I would recommend if you get bogged down with the pressures of the holidays, please get out and and visit different cities to see the lights that are displayed in the neighborhoods, OR watch a special Christmas program on Hallmark. Last night I watched one of my all time favorite Christmas shows, that I first viewed in 2005 after my mother passed away. "Angel in the Family". http://www.dvdempire.com/Exec/v4_item.asp?userid=-1&item_id=1290377 If you are grieving over the loss of a family member, this movie will really comfort you. Meredith Baxter is one of the best actresses in Hollywood. She brings warmth and reality to her film credits. You can also view all of her movies/films, projects that she has been involved in, at this site. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meredith_Baxter
Other great "cheer me up" movies are TIM ALLEN'S "The Santa Claus" (1) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111070/
and "The Santa Claus" (2) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0304669/
Another one of my all time favorites is "Home Alone" with Macauley Caulkin. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099785/
and "Home Alone 2" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104431/
I hope you enjoy some of these movies over the Christmas season. May you always remember that "Jesus is the Reason for the Season". God bless you!
