God Bless America...Land that I love...
I hope that everyone took the time today to reflect back on that horrible day 8 years ago, when America was struck with such awful tragedy. A day that will forever haunt us, and remain in our minds... A day that has gone down in history that we as Americans, pulled together, and somehow through the grief and trauma, we became stronger than ever. God Bless you, and God Bless America!!!

Hi Deb, I watched TV off and on today--reliving 9/11... So Sad!!! My blog tomorrow will talk about where George and I were on 9/11/01.
Hugs,
Betsy
Isn't it interesting how most people remember EXACTLY what they were doing that day? It was early morning, and my husband and I were on our way to Montgomery to the Federal courthouse to do some business. They closed the federal buildings down that day. We had just heard on the radio about the first plane, and I went to the gas station to pump gas. When I came back out, I believe the 2nd plane was hitting the towers. It was horrible. I remember going home and crying...watching the television in disbelief. I look forward to reading your blog in the morning...Nite, Betsy boo :)
can you imagine, i even took one picture from the tv yesterday! it is that memorable...
cherie, I can't imagine how awful it was. It was worse than our worst nightmare. I know that the families of the victims must still be suffering the after shock of it.
