GOLD STAR PARK, WETUMPKA, ALABAMA

Visited Gold Star Park in Wetumpka, Alabama the other day.  It was the first time since I had been there in 2002 to campaign, except visiting with my friend Christine there.  I hope you enjoy the pictures from there.

Looks like a beautiful place! And I enjoyed rereading your Lincoln quotes. Finally have some time here to visit blogs as spouse is finally coming home from rehab in the nursing home....

Gorgeous pictures, Deb... That is a pretty park.. You ought to go back in all four seasons and take pictures and compare the differences.

Hugs,
Betsy

Deb, who is Christine? And if you were that close, why didn't you come to see me?

I'm shattered that you didn't. :-) because I've wanted to meet you in person for several years.

Actually, it was a quick trip, and my husband drove me. We will have to stop by and see you one day :) Christine is a very good friend of mine, and we met 4 years ago. (at Gold Star Park)...we met online and have remained close friends.

Christine is fortunate to have you as a friend, Deb.

I look forward to the day you drop by to see me. It's been a long wait for that day to arrive. :-)
