VIRGINIA'S GOVERNOR RACE...BRINGS VIEWS OF DISCRIMINATION AGAINST WOMEN

I think I can speak for Virginia, since that is where I am from, and lived there many years.  Two individuals who are running for Governor of Virginia, have very drastic views of women in the workplace, and women in general.  Here is one of the blogs that I frequent, and they had a great article today....hope you will take the time to read it!  http://www.leftinalabama.com/diary/4974/womens-call-night-for-virginia-gov-race

Back to the candidates running for Governor.

“Working women and feminists are detrimental to the family”  This is what Bob McDonnell stated in his Masters' Thesis while attending the Pat Robertson Regent University.  Bob is running for Governor on the Republican ticket.  "While in the legislature, Bob McDonnell also voted against equal pay for women for equal work and introduced or co-sponsored over 35 pieces of legislation to restrict a woman’s right to choose – even in the case of incest or rape." (courtesy of Left In Alabama).

On the other hand, Creigh Deeds, is the Democrat candidate with ABSOLUTELY different views on women.  Here is Deed's website for Governor of Virginia.  http://www.deedsforvirginia.com/

Well there you go. Republicans are self destructing due to candidates with extreme views identifying as republican. They are alienating voters left and right and it won't be long till democrats, independents and moderates will dominate every race. I wonder what will become of the republican party? Eventually the moderates of the party will have to purge and distance themselves from the extreme fringe if its going to survive. Or will moderates strike out on their own and start their own party? Leaving the extreme right to take over the party? Time will tell, but I like the way this is going. The more nuts they run-the more they lose.

I agree, Cherie...women have just as much right to be treated equally as men; in the workplace, as well as anywhere else.

I agree, equal pay for equal work!

BUT...not one single person on this planet has the right to kill an innocent child, born or unborn, for any reason. Scripture tells us that ALL children are a gift from God, not some, but ALL! To kill that gift is like spitting in the face of Our Creator!
