ABSOLUTE STRANGER SMACKS A CHILD AT WALMART!!

I was actually shocked when I read this story.  Makes you want to leave  your children at  home with a qualified babysitter....

I have a little story to share, myself ...but this one is a good one.  I took my granddaughter to the Stockyards in Clanton today, and the cheese man tried to give her a slice of cheese.  She refused it.  I couldn't figure out why, because she LOVES cheese.  When I got in the car, it finally dawned on me, that her mother teaches her not to accept things from strangers.  THAT HAS TO BE IT!!  He was a stranger to her.  While that was cute...it still reminds us to teach our children, and grandchildren, to always be wary now days of people they don't know.

Cherie...needless to say, I was appalled about this person's behavior. I wonder if he ever had any kids? I wonder if he has grandkids that make a lot of noise, and he is just plumb tired of hearing children. Some people get like that. Maybe he had a bad day? Whatever the excuse, you don't go smacking a 2 year old like that...especially when the child is SOMEONE ELSE'S!! What's going on here with society? Sounds like my stalkers that harass my son all the time. Posting both of my younger children's myspaces on bamakrissy's site. Can you believe that? Isn't that a form of stalking? They run around to their blogs and try to make something out of their posts that aren't true. Anyway...let me get off of my soapbox. I have business to take care of this morning. I hope you have a wonderful day!!

It's a different world today, Deb... I remember when I grew up in BSG, we were always perfectly safe all of the time. I don't even think that my parents locked our doors. Now--we have to teach our kids things like: don't speak to strangers; don't take anything from strangers; etc.... AND---hugging is off-limits now. Sad, isn't it??
Hugs,
Betsy

My feelings about this case are very strong. I'm listening right now to Nancy Grace talk about this man being charged with a felony, and several other charges...I tell you what, if he had grabbed my child from my arms like that...I would have kicked him in the balls, or something. I SWEAR...it's absolutely horrendous to think that people can just do this at Walmart...This man looks like he has issues, anyway...just look at his face.

Talking about BSG...there was a murder right next door to where we lived there...An elderly couple was murdered right after we moved away. I don't know what the motive was...
