I was surprised that Hugh Grant turned this role down...he claimed, "Creative Differences"...as his reason. Both are excellent actors, in my book. I believe that Ashton has a great sense of humor and most likely can bring some new viewers to the already phenominally popular show...HOWEVER...can he replace CHARLIE???? We will see...
