I love this!!! I was eight years old in 1972 when Gov. Wallace was shot, and the image of Cornelia protecting him is forever burned into my memory! In the days and weeks that followed the shooting, I became absolutely captivated by Cornelia, and the rest of the family, too, once I learned that some of the kids were around my age! I was so impressed with how Cornelia loved George through his difficult recovery, and was sad several years later when their marriage broke up. And I only learned last week that we lost Cornelia in 2009. She is one person I wish with all my heart that I could have met! Thanks so much for sharing this note from her!
Hi...I'm glad you stopped by to view my website. As a former state candidate for the PSC, county candidate for positions of Sheriff and County Commissioner, I have had the great opportunity of meeting many people on the campaign trail. This state has truly been blessed with good citizens, and I hope you will find this blog to be both interesting, and informative. It will not only contain POLITICAL NEWS, but also personal things about family and life, and also news from all over the United States and the World.

Once vivacious, always vivacious.
Why thank you, Don. Very kind of you to say that. The older I get the more I have to work at the vivacious LOL.
