WOMAN PLACES $1.75 WINNING BID ON EBAY FOR A HOME!

A woman placed a winning bid for a home in Saginaw, Michigan, for $1.75. There was a catch, however. She must pay $850.00 in back taxes, and pay to keep up the lawn. WOW!! What better example of why senators and congressmen (and women) are in Washington working towards another BAILOUT DEAL. The foreclosures, even in my area of Alabama, are astounding! Many houses up for auction. Let's hope that our leaders in Washington are able to aide in the fixing of this financial crisis, and not add to it. Oh! Congratulations to the Ebay buyer of the Michigan home.

President George W. Bush's ratings have dropped to a new low! The above article states one of the reasons is the failing of the 700 billion bailout as well as recent closings of banking institutions and the plunge on Wall Street. Do you think Bush is doing a good job, or do you agree with the polling?

I don't even take Jay Love's commercials seriously anymore. Come on, how is JAY LOVE going to single handedly take down Nancy Pelosi, AS SOON AS HE GETS ELECTED??? He has stated that will be his first priority. I would certainly hope that he has more important PRIORITIES if he represents ME. He is running for Congress to represent my district, and I sure as heck don't want someone going to Washington with a vendetta!!! Lighten up Jay. Go back to doing what you do best. (Is it running Subways?). It sure as heck AIN'T (I know that's not correct English) going to be taking down a powerful woman like Nancy Pelosi!! Leave that to Cindy Sheehan. Women can take each other on in a civilized manner.
