Libertarians, Independents, or any other group should be allowed to be on the ballot.Deb Murphree/Alabama Politicshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00494923918069847914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4192548357417510276.post-13757973868311967572008-11-02T09:54:00.000-06:002008-11-02T09:54:00.000-06:00Re: your “This year is most unusual, due to the fa...Re: your “This year is most unusual, due to the fact that we have an African American candidate running for President on the Democrat ticket, and we have a woman running for the Vice President on the Republican ticket. How amazing is that!! It is truly an historical year for Americans, and we need to take this obligation of ours very seriously.”

I don’t think anyone should cast a vote based on race or gender, even though that does make this election unusual. It’s also unusual that the Republican VP candidate has more experience as a government executive officer than does the Democratic candidate for the presidency.

To me, the historical thing about this election is that we have regressed to the point that the two controlling major political parties have given the electorate a choice between two candidates for the presidency who both have socialistic records and agendas, although one is far more socialistic than the other. Thus, I won’t vote for either one. To see how I’ll vote go back to my comments to your ELECTION DAY IS ONLY 6 DAYS AWAY!!
