I bel...Hello "just another anonymous:)". I believe this hideous crime that the sheriff's department claims happened, occurred OUTSIDE of the Police Jurisdiction. (Chevron?). It seems to center around NOISE, but as far as I know, Autauga County has no noise ordinances. If that's the case...what were Autauga County Sheriff's deputies doing approaching the boy in the first place? These are supposedly "law enforcement" officers.

Ok, what transpired from the Sheriff's Department handling the boy, to the Police Department taking him to jail?

Ok, Autauga County Sheriff's Department, OR Prattville Police Department again, are "law enforcement" agencies. Exactly when did it become law enforcement's job to teach our kids RESPECT??? It's not their job to discipline ANYONE. And if they want RESPECT, then they have to put forth effort to earn RESPECT. I don't believe that RESPECT can be "learned". It's something we all have to work hard for. It has to be EARNED. When law enforcement approaches anyone, to enforce laws that are created by themselves on the spot, they aren't earning ANYONE'S RESPECT...That's just pure "tyranny". I think we have fought wars over that before. It looks like we are headed that way again.Deb Murphree/Alabama Politicshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00494923918069847914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4192548357417510276.post-52694666703088229322009-09-21T12:10:43.746-05:002009-09-21T12:10:43.746-05:00The teen in this story later was jailed by Prattvi...The teen in this story later was jailed by Prattville PD. He was taken from the hospital to jail because when he was at the hospital, he started acting like a crazy fool, wanting to fight with everyone in sight. So if he had to be tazed once, twice, or however many times, it really doesn't surprise me a bit. Don't try to physically fight with the cops when they ask you to turn your radio down. Kids these days need to learn respect.
Just an FYI.Just another anon :)noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4192548357417510276.post-73814207303434685572009-09-13T07:54:41.445-05:002009-09-13T07:54:41.445-05:00Anonymous poster, One more thing. Do any of these deputies have a history of this type of behavior? Is this a "blast from the past" for any of your buds? How about get your buds to come on here, and you all really tell your versions of the story. We might tend to listen a little more attentively to your "story" if you were willing to add your name to your post.Deb Murphree/Alabama Politicshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00494923918069847914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4192548357417510276.post-54742715779222196352009-09-13T07:06:57.292-05:002009-09-13T07:06:57.292-05:00"He did not go to jail, he left in an ambulan..."He did not go to jail, he left in an ambulance".

Dear "Anonymous" ...the reason he went in an ambulance, was because they tased him (wasn't it TWICE???). You obviously have a great deal in this case, as to how it comes out. Most individuals who really have convictions of truthfulness, will post their names to their stories. Evidently, you must not be "so persuaded". I also noticed you googled the Autauga County Sheriff's election, so you are probably associated with the sheriff, as is the other anonymous poster. Could it be you got ya a new cell phone? :) I'm sure Julian McPhillips is trying to get justice for this young man. I still shake my head in disgust thinking about a young boy going to air up his tires, and all of that transpiring. MAKES NO SENSE. I dread when my child starts driving. I think that I'll just have to ride everywhere with him to be his witness. What I'm really surprised about, is that the deputies usually hang out at CITGO. Why would they change their donut venue??Deb Murphree/Alabama Politicshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00494923918069847914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4192548357417510276.post-79742632404137308032009-09-13T01:12:13.653-05:002009-09-13T01:12:13.653-05:00Well as far as the news report, it was wrong. The Deputies tried very hard to talk to him and all he did was cuss and yell and threaten the cops. He did not go to jail, he left in the ambulance. The story is false and I hope that our County does not pay him a dime.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4192548357417510276.post-35202259663232055842009-09-08T18:16:29.731-05:002009-09-08T18:16:29.731-05:00Oh how I value your comment, Elmer...but I think t...Oh how I value your comment, Elmer...but I think that DON FLETCHER was dead on, on this article. Give thought to what the article was about. It's about a possible lawsuit on the Sheriff's office. Naturally, he would report from the TEENS'S viewpoint. (because the lawsuit will be filed on behalf of the TEEN.) These deputies will have to defend themselves against the TEEN'S view. The suit is as big of news as the MISCONDUCT of the DEPUTIES. Are the deputies planning on suing the TEEN? If so, then Fletcher needs to do another story. How 'bout you inform him of that?Deb Murphree/Alabama Politicshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00494923918069847914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4192548357417510276.post-27067419415337498412009-09-08T18:11:16.804-05:002009-09-08T18:11:16.804-05:00Troutbirder, thanks for visiting, and your commen...Troutbirder, thanks for visiting, and your comment was very much appreciated! That is none of their damn business.

Yes, that sounds like most law enforcement officials they do things they shouldn't and try to hide it or scare someone away, but eventually karma catches up with them. You know some people think karma is just a superstition, but it's not. What about reaping what you have sewn, sounds to me like karma...The good Lord knew what he was doing. This does happen, its as true and as real as the brownnose on their faces.
